Erik was born and raised in the southern sticks of Maine and spent his formative years attending Babson College outside of Boston, MA. It was there that he majored in Entrepreneurship and Information Systems. After spending nearly 9 years in the city enjoying runs around the Charles River and Boston sports, he moved to Maui in 2005 to pursue new opportunities. When it comes to real estate, Erik has the unique experience of knowing what it is like to pack up and move to Maui with a one-way ticket and now truly feel like part of the community. He has experience with buying, selling, foreclosures, commercials properties, and rental properties and is ready to help you with whatever your needs may be. Each transaction is unique, and Erik will work hard to make sure your needs are understood and that communication remains open and honest throughout the entire process. Prior to becoming part of the real estate industry, Erik spent over 15 years as General Manager of Skyline Hawaii, helping to grow one of Maui’s premiere tourism companies from 7 employees to over 120. The people and the company’s commitment to giving back to the community and environmental efforts were what he loved the most about being a part of the organization. Having a lifelong passion for those values is what eventually brought him to Island Sotheby’s International Realty. ISIR’s dedicated reputation, people, and inspiring commitment to giving back to the community helped Erik feel right at home and like he was where he was meant to be. As an individual member of 1% for the Planet, a portion of all of Erik’s income goes back to local conservation efforts. He is also dedicated to giving back to the community and is part of the school board for his kids’ school at Carden Academy of Maui and was also asked to serve on the board of the Haleakala Conservancy, which is a non-profit dedicated to philanthropic outreach in support of Haleakala National Park. Erik lives with his beautiful wife, Jessica, and two amazing kids, Dillon and Charlie, in Kula. They have a third talented child, Trenton, who is currently studying music in LA. When he is not negotiating with his kids, you can find Erik running along the sandy shores, playing in the waves, listening to podcasts, and talking about podcasts.
