Nearly two decades ago, Deborah and her dogs moved their little family from Dallas, Texas, to Maui and what an amazing adventure that has been. After graduating from the University of North Texas with a degree in Biology, she spent her younger years working and performing full time as a professional musician and singer traveling the world and living out of a suitcase. Moving to Maui was a natural place for her to finally settle down. Deborah’s first home was in Maui Meadows above Kihei and Wailea, but she soon longed for land and ended up in Maui’s beautiful “Upcountry”. That is where Deborah tried her hand at dairy goat farming and the art of cheese-making. She spent many years Upcountry enjoying living on agricultural land she cultivated as an organic farmer growing everything from papayas to pumpkins. Deborah blends art and real estate every day. Her passion for renovating homes and condos allows her to see what is unseen. “My interest and focus is on design. Homes and condos are just shells to me full of possibilities. If you buy a location you love, you have already won the game because everything else is wide open to change.”. Deborah has personally owned multiple condos throughout South Maui over the last two decades. She provides an enormous body of knowledge in regard to each complex and can speak from her own experience as to the complex’s history of monetization or indifference as well as the complex’s pros and cons regarding renovations and restrictions. Her work on HOA Boards and community involvement allow her to bring real Maui life experience to each of her clients. Deborah has lived in almost every climate zone Maui has to offer and loved them all for their unique qualities. Currently, she is living oceanfront at Sugar Beach Resort with her beloved affenpinscher and a rowdy beach-loving pit mix. She is still active in the music community and her band, The Deborah Vial Band, won the Na Hoku Hanohano award in 2019 for “Best Rock Album”. Welcome to Maui.
